The Atelier

Part designer, part alchemist.

Behind it all is Ti Kwa. From his Hong Kong atelier, he conjures frames from unlikely sources: samurai armour, gothic literature, the rough warmth of stone, the patterns of manta rays. Complete control of his studio means complete freedom to experiment. And he never stops.

The materials are as unconventional as the vision. Buffalo horn from Ethiopia and Egypt. Copper that develops its own verdigris over time. Sterling silver, hand-hammered for texture. Wood selected for grain and density. Each piece ages differently — shaped by climate, skin, and wear. No two are ever the same.

The results are sculptural, textured, and constantly evolving. Disobedient yet refined. For those ready for it, there's nothing else.

NATURAL HORN

All RIGARDS natural horn frames are meticulously handcrafted from solid horn pieces, carefully selected for their unique colors and depth. RIGARDS' inspirations are diverse and unexpected, often focusing on aesthetics not considered "beautiful" in the conventional sense. Unique finishes like Sanjuro, Relique, and Plastron add a personal dimension to each frame, allowing perfect customization to each person's needs and style.
